The Tool Bar at the bottom of the Radio WorkFlow screen contains a number of crucial interfaces for communication and moderation of the programming software.
At the left is the "Your Flow" button. Inside "Your Flow" any user can send a message to another or respond to a message directly. The your flow system allows users to discuss topics more efficiently than with emails because the conversation can flow backwards and forwards in real time. All "Flows" include thumbnail images of the staff contributing and all comments are supported with automatic email notification. So users don't have to exit the software to communicate. Flows can be deleted with a click on the trash can next to the user. All Flows remain in the system for a set period of time until being automatically deleted. The Your Flow button has a small red number alongside that indicates how many new un-viewed messages you have inside.
Next is the notifications button. Notifications are all the automatic messages Radio WorkFlow needs to distributes to you personally, but doesn't want to clog up your activity feed with. Workflow will notify you when someone has approved or declined an order that you created, or when a project associated with you has incurred an automatic operation. Such as a deletion or archival. The notification panel also includes a small red number alongside it that indicates how many new un-viewed messages you have inside.
Next is the Global search field. From here you can search the entire radio Workflow database for you network for a particular project by typing a keyword. A list is generated that contains clickable links to every project that matches your keyword.
The online button shows you who's on line right now. Click this button when you'd like to message someone urgently.
Gold Stars. Each time you complete an action you receive a "Gold Star" for your efforts. This is the Gold Star Leader board, where you can see who has been most active today in the programming department of your radio network. Where are you ranking? The Gold Star leader board
is controllable from the Globals panel in the Settings area and can be switched off if required.
Auto Flows. From here you can view and monitor all of your stations active "Auto Flows". There's also a pink "details" button with each Auto Flow which reveals more information on the project.
Start Report. Click this link to see a list of every programming project due to start on air tomorrow. It's an instant Validation list before turning the lights out in the production studio each night. The list is hot pink, so you wont miss it!
Notepad. When the phone rings you can leave notes for yourself here. No need to search for a pen and paper.
